Developed by NASA to help relieve pressure during space flight, Diamond Mattress’ Outlast® visco memory foam molds to your body, relieving back and shoulder tension while you sleep.
Diamond’s Outlast® visco memory cells absorb your weight, rather than pushing back against you like conventional mattresses do.
Diamond’s Outlast® visco memory foam’s heat sensitive properties adjust to your body temperature (unlike the ‘first generation’ memory foam used in Tempurpedic® product) and conforms more perfectly to your body as you settle in for the night.
Diamond’s Outlast® visco memory foam mattresses are made from Outlast®. This visco memory foam was developed by NASA for use in the inner lining of astronauts’ space suits and gloves to help control the dramatic temperature changes in space.
This NASA-developed Outlast® visco memory foam will keep you comfortable by absorbing body heat when too much is created (unlike the ‘first generation’ visco memory foam used in Tempurpedic® mattresses which becomes very hot due to that memory foam heating in reaction to body temperature).
How Diamond’s Outlast® Memory Foam Works
The heat absorbing thermocules in Outlast® memory foam continuously absorb, store and release excess body heat to keep the temperature and humidity within your bed in the optimum range for restful sleep. By eliminating temperature swings throughout the night, you are less likely to wake from chills or overheating. The result is deeper, more restful sleep.
